Bike Camp

Maddy had her week of bike camp this week. She was thrilled to have the same coach, Jocelyn, that she had for baseball camp. Maddy did a good job with her new bike though it's becoming hard to keep her in the right size bike the way she's been growing! (And sadly, I didn't seem to snap a picture of her on her new bike.)

As always, the best part of camp is all the music and games.

While Maddy was in camp, Audrey and I returned to the awesome pool we found at the end of last year. One day, we even had it to ourselves...mostly because it was cloudy and cold and no one in their right mind would go swimming! Audrey and I had fun though!

Even on a sunny day, this pool seems to be our little secret!

Mid-week, we decided to have Maddy switch gears and work on riding a trike in preparation for our trip to Hilton Head. With all the bike paths there, renting a trike seems like a great opportunity to give Maddy the bike experience I've always wished that she could have.

And after the first day of trying the trike, I took one look at her face and knew that the trike was an awesome solution for her.

It's been a great week and now she's ready to take on the bike paths of Hilton Head!
