Triple Crown and MOS

Maddy's been a little down since she broke her elbow so we wanted to make an extra effort to have a fun weekend that she could enjoy, cast or no cast! I think we succeeded pretty well.

Saturday was very quiet. Bob had the car for the day, so I took the kids on a walk along the beach.




Audrey really enjoyed being taller than everyone else for once!




There was a little motivation for the walk…ice cream! Maddy called it "chocolate soup".



Later on Saturday evening, we watched American Pharaoh complete his Triple Crown. Maddy can really pick a horse!



On Sunday, we went to brunch on our way to the Museum of Science. Maddy remembered the hot chocolate from our last trip to Johnny D's and was happy to repeat the experience!



And what could be better than chocolate chip pancakes as big as your head?



Then they worked on running off those pancakes!



And Maddy tried to lift the world.



We had a great time at the Museum of Science, visiting parts of the museum that we normally don't see like the Hall of Electricity and the Butterfly Garden.



And then we finished off with an IMAX movie about Humpback Whales. Everyone had a great day!
