Field Day!

Today was a big day in our house. It was pajama day for Audrey at her preschool, and it was Field Day for 2nd graders at Maddy's school. Maddy was on Team Orange.



When her class started practicing for Field Day last week, Maddy was definitely a little upset that she wasn't going to be able to participate.



But luckily (or unluckily, depending on your perspective), there was another girl in Maddy's class with a broken bone, so they could keep each other company and provide some moral support for their team.



And  Maddy did get to participate in the best part...Slush! As she told one of the mom volunteers, "Slush is the best part because there are no losers in slush!"



The Class on 2025, in all their colors!



Maddy had a great day. I can't believe she's almost a third grader!
