Today, as a special treat for the last day, she got to meet and skate with former Boston Bruin, Bob Sweeney. I'm pretty sure her conversation with him went something like this: "You play hockey. Cool, me too." She's not easily impressed.
She also got to skate (and/or collide with) Blade, the Boston Bruin mascot.
The program was also nice because it let Maddy keep in touch with her buddies from baseball and bike camp. I can't say enough good things about the Franciscan Children's Hospital...
...or about Maddy's awesome coach Kathleen.
It was a great experience! We are already planning on going back next year!
