The Calm Before the Storm

We enjoyed a nice quiet weekend, before getting sucked into the holiday vortex of chaos. On Saturday, Maddy had her swim lessons. Now that she's been promoted to Level 3, she has to work on diving (she's doing "sit dives" for now) and swimming the whole length of the pool. I'm so proud of her!


Later that day, we tried out the new yogurt place in town. It reminded us very much of Yogurt Mountain, in Birmingham, which we were all very excited about. If they would open up a 'Nothing But Noodles" next door, Maddy would probably move in!


And Sunday, we got a little head start on Christmas shopping and had MORE frozen yogurt, while enjoying some really bad pop music.


And yes, I'm pretty sure Maddy was "raised by elves".
