Party Weekend

February is birthday season around here, and because we are insane, we thought having two birthday parties in one weekend would be a good idea. On Saturday, Maddy invited her classmates to the local gymnastics place for some bouncing....

...and pizza and Kermit cupcakes.

She had a great time and it was amazing to watch her running with (and past!) the other kids. She even walked across a balance beam all by herself.

On Sunday, we had the family over for a party for both girls. Audrey got to smash some cake.

Maddy and Stella had some more Kermit cupcakes. It was a great day and both girls especially appreciated the tsunami of presents that they got to open!

While Grandma is staying here a little longer, Grandfather had to head home on Monday morning so he wanted to get a few hugs in before he hit the road.

We're still recovering from all the excitement, at least I am. But I think Maddy would love it if every weekend were that exciting!
