Happy Birthday Audrey! What a difference a year makes! It feels like one minute you are a tiny lump, sleeping in my arms.

And the next minute you are kickboxing a birthday balloon! This year has been a blur....but a happy one!

You are such a huge part of our family now, it's hard to imagine what it was like before you were here and it was Maddy, who had the craziest bed-head.

Sometimes, I find myself telling people that you and your sister are so different, but that's not really true. You two are very different. Maddy was much more interested in reading books and snuggling when she was your age. You, on the other hand, are interested in scaling all the furniture and giving me heart attacks. But you both have the sweetest, most charming personalities. And a curiosity about the world that I love to watch.

You love to swing like she did too. Though, I think this summer when you can walk around the park, you won't want to be contained anymore!

Lately, your language has been really exploding and you understand so much of what we tell you. Of course, one of your new favorite words would be "Maddy". She is the bees knees as far are you're concerned. And nothing makes me happier than to see you two laughing together.
