This weekend would normally have been our holiday party, so in the name of trying to stay connected, we decided to spend the day driving around, dropping off treats and gifts and saying a quick hello to people from their porch or driveway.
First, treats had to be made. COVID, you can take away a lot, but you can't take away my peanut butter balls!
First we visited Alison and Santino where Audrey got to throw snowballs into a backyard with six inches of snow on it and watch a dog get equally excited and confused!
Next we went to see Kenny, Tricia and Thomas's. Luckily the sun was out, so standing outside was pretty pleasant!
Some social-distancing constraints are more appreciated than others!
Next, we visited Granda and Aunt Linda at Grandpa's house and enjoyed a fire in the fire pit and the very classy and traditional holiday meal of McDonalds.
(Super spreader Bob...)
After we could no longer stand being out in the cold, dark snow...we went to our final event of the day...drive through Christmas light displays with the Cahoons.
There's not much catching up that happens when you're cruising around in separate cars, but we're taking what we can get this year!
