Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day is the traditional end of the summer and it truly was the end for us, an school starts on Tuesday! So we filled our Labor Day weekend with as much summer as possible.

On Saturday we went down to Taunton to celebrate Grandpa's birthday with a cookout.  Audrey and Thomas enjoying the seesaw.

Carmine entertained everyone with his dramatic reading of programs from Patriots games from the 1980s.

Birthday cake!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

We gave Grandpa a fire pit for a gift but the box was a pretty fun gift as well!

On Sunday we had a cookout at the Teixiera's but before that we met Christian and his husband for dim sum.

Then on the last day before school started we went to the End-of-Summer party at the Cottage Park Yacht Club.

Maddy terrorized local children who dared to get in the dunk tank.

Audrey found a swim buddy willing to brave the cold water with her!

The belly-flop contest was very entertaining!

Luckily it started to rain so we HAD to leave. Otherwise it would have been too hard to say goodbye to summer.
