Aside from the threat of a torrential downpour and the mud from all the rain earlier in the day, it was a great night for a concert.
And The National were amazing!
On Saturday we were finally able to attend the Thornton Park Block Party after we'd heard so much about it for years. It was a blast. The kids literally stayed in the bouncy house until the rental company drove up and deflated it!
On Sunday, Audrey had the last "instructional" soccer game of her career. Obviously, dousing the coach with water was mandatory.
After the game, we ended up having an impromptu beach day with friends.
The first beach day of the year was pretty perfect, it was hard to leave!
On Monday Audrey started British Soccer Camp. After the first day Audrey came home and went right to work decorating her soccer ball with the flags of all the teams participating in this year's World Cup.
And then as if soccer camp wasn't' enough for one day, both kids had their first softball game of the season.
Maddy is SO THRILLED to have Audrey on her team!
Summer is off to a great start!
