April Vacation Part One: Plymouth

We started out April Vacation week with a trip to Plymouth for a walk and a lobster roll. We'd been promised beautiful weather on this Saturday ALL WEEK LONG. But then the nice weather seemed to stall out, leaving us with gloomy skies.

We stopped by the Forefather's Monument first. The kids are standing at the intersection of "youth" and "mercy".

After the mandatory Lobster Hut lunch we walked out on the jetty, and actually made it all the way out to the end for the first time as a family!

While we were out on the jetty, the skies finally started to turn blue.

After the jetty we took a walk for ice cream, and also ended up bringing cupcakes home as well....I blame Maddy! And we saw the elusive double-headed lobster!

It was a really fun way to start our vacation!
