Busy Weekend

We're not usually social butterflies, but this weekend we were!

Friday night we went to the ice cream social at Audrey's school. (Followed by pizza band drinks on the deck at the Ille's...a perfect late summer night!)

Saturday morning, we'd found a home for our kitchen set that the kids had outgrown but which was taking up SO much space in Audrey's room...now we just needed to get it down the steps, still assembled! 😬  "Miss Kerry", Audrey's old (occasional) babysitter wanted it for her home daycare, so we're thrilled that it'll live on to make other kids happy.

(We have so many happy memories of this kitchen, including all the Julia Child style videos we used to make of Maddy when was a just a curly haired three year old. 😩)

*dries tears*

On Saturday night, Maddy softball team was defeated for the second time in their series with the Jaguars, ending their season. Maddy's sad, but she had a great time this season. She always misses seeing her softball friends the rest of the year.

Sunday, we were invited to a pool party in town, but first we walked around the "I Love Winthrop" Festival in the Center. They had hoola-hoops...

...and Fanta. (clearly all the trappings of a great festival!)

It was a great weekend!
