Bob's New Ride

Bob has been wanting to get back into kayaking for a while now, and he finally managed to find a new kayak that would work for him, but also with an adaptive paddle pivot so that Maddy can use it too.

For his first time out, we launched him into the Belle Isle Marsh.



Maddy gave it a try too...she may have drifted too far out... but Bob was able to swim out and get her! (The marsh is much more open and windy than we realized it would be!)



Luckily (for Bob's stress levels!), Audrey still fits in the cockpit so she could ride with him.





Sunday, Bob took a solo cruise around the boat landing.



We're still figuring it all out, but Bob is definitely to have a boat again!
