For the first week of summer vacation, Audrey attended "British" soccer camp (those most of the instructors were Brazilian!). Her first day she decided to represent her Portuguese heritage and was promptly dressed down by the one British instructor (I'm guessing they have a soccer rivalry....?)! I knew she was kidding, but Audrey refused to wear her shirt the rest of the week, even though she was supposed to wear red every day!
Audrey was assigned to the Russian team (😳) so on "flag" day she tried to win for the smallest flag. She was successful!
Meanwhile, Maddy enjoyed the peace and quiet for a few hours in the mornings. The best part of summer is jugsaw puzzles!
Audrey had a great week! She learned so much and is excited to keep playing soccer in the fall!
