First Summer Weekend

Our first weekend of summer vacation was pretty good, though a little bit of a mixed bag. I'm not going to name names, but we spent the first few hours of summer vacation at the Emergency Room at Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary because somebody scratched somebody else's eyeball. I won't say anything more, except that the precipitating conflict arose from an article of Build-a-Bear clothing. *insert giant eyeroll*

But lucikly, by Saturday afternoon the "victim" in the altercation felt better enough to attend the Strawberry Festival. (I forgot to take pictures, but we made the paper!)




On Sunday, I had promised to take the kids to see the sequel to The Incredibles so we  went into Boston on the ferry.









(I don't know what this movie is, but I don't think I want to see it until after beach season is concluded!)



Unfortunately, I didn't get my sunset cruise on the way home, the weather took a rainy turn.





But still, a nice day.
