End of Year Events

This last month of school was filled with end-of year events. There was Audrey's 1st grade concert (which sadly, I was away for and Audrey will likely never let me forget.)



Then there was the ice cream social. (Audrey's friend Riya is about to head off to Bulgaria for the whole summer!)



Maddy had her 5th grade concert where they an amazing rendition of We Are the World in honor of one of their classmates who's battling cancer.



Sadly, Maddy had to say goodbye to her Band Director and trumpet instructor who's moving away.



But on a happier note, the 5th grade got to take a field trip to the Freedom Trail.





And my last time volunteering in Audrey's class, I got to see their "Reader's Workshop". Audrey was the narrator for The Brave Tailor. She got to design her own hat, so she made this....? 🤔



And finally, Maddy had her last band concert of her elementary school career! They sounded awesome!




Anyway, it's been a little crazy but fun to see everything the kids have been up to this year!
