Vacation Week

It's vacation week!

(And we started it with lunch at LaSiesta which wasn't terribly different than a regular weekend, but Audrey did seem a little extra excited)

Sunday evening we went to the Big Apple Circus. Audrey had been looking forward to the cotton candy ALL WEEK.

Monday was pretty gross, driving rain and cold (I felt really bad for the Boston Marathon runners!) So we stayed in and enjoyed our new (to us) dining table handed down from Bob's Grandma Carroll with a game of Monopoly.

Tuesday, we dropped some "friends" off for a Stuffed Animal Sleepover at the library.

Then spent the afternoon at the Museum of Science. The Mirror Maze was very cool!

Wednesday we went to the Aquarium. Just like when the kids were little, the Stingray and Shark Touch Tank was their most favorite thing! We stopped by twice!

I was a little worried that Myrtle may have passed on since the last time we'd been the Aquarium but she was still swimming!

Thursday we went to the MFA with some friends...

...and made some art inspired by MC Esher

Friday we drove up to Maine to see the DiBiases and most importantly, their new puppy Scamper. It was hard to pry Audrey away from the new puppy. She even gave out advice about how to train him!

Finally, on Saturday we hiked Breakheart Reservation with Audrey's Girl Scout Troop.

It was an awesome week!
