Sail Boston/ Father's Day

The tall ships were back in Boston this weekend, for the first time in seventeen years. On Saturday Winthrop had a great view of the "Parade of Ships", so we went out to Deer Island to take it all in.









A kind man out on the jetty took this awesome family photo. I think this will be this year's submission for Awkward Family Photos.





On Sunday, to celebrate Father's Day we went into Boston with the Ille's to see the tall ships up close and to have fancy pizza for dinner.









(The rubber chicken made Father's Day extra special.)



After dinner, the lines weren't so bad anymore so we actually got to board a ship, the Bark Europa.
