Kindergarten Field Day

Audrey's class had a "field day" too, but the organization of it was left to the room mothers (gah!!!). But luckily, having just volunteered at Maddy's field day, I had some fun and easy ideas that I could poach! And when all else fails, having snack on a picnic blanket is pretty fun in itself.



Plus, a mom of one of Audrey's classmate was an awesome face painter! That was a huge hit!



The water balloons I filled for a balloon toss weren't as fun as I thought (especially given the excitement the balloons garnered when I had to walk them across the playground!) but we made sure they didn't go to waste!



I wish I could achieve Audrey's water balloon "zen" in my everyday life!
