Grandma and Grandfather Visits

Grandma and Grandfather were up for a visit this weekend. And they actually didn't bring crappy weather with them! It was such a nice evening, we just sat out on our beach for a while. There may or may not have been wine present.





Saturday morning we had an adventure planned! But first we needed lunch so we stopped at the Gulf Coast Grille.



These two are clearly up to no good!



After we were properly fueled up it was time to ride the rails!







Our trip was six miles of cycling on the rails, along the Narragansett Bay.



The views were stunning!







All this cycling totally deserves a trip to the Newport Creamery!



On Sunday, Audrey and Coach Bob had their last game of the season. With one last chance to score a goal this season and we found what it takes to motivate Audrey. Bob promised her a puppy if she scored a goal and she did. In fact, she almost scored two. (We convinced her that we meant a stuffed animal puppy and she bought it. Sort of. Whew!)



Sunday night Rob, Keyne, Bob and I had tickets to see U2 and The Lumineers. This was our first experience tailgating at Gillette Stadium and I think we did ok.



(We got cool new U2 T-shirts but Bob ruined my selfie.)



The concert was so awesome! The screen was mesmerizing!



For Grandma and Grandfather's last day we did a little shopping and then hit the beach one last time! (Obligatory water tower shot!)







Thanks to Grandma and Grandfather for visiting (and baby-sitting so we could go to the concert!) It was a very full weekend! And a memorable one!
