Girls Weekend

Grandma and Aunt Katie were here this weekend for our annual Girls Weekend. We didn't have much planned, just a lot of hanging out.

On Friday afternoon, after school we took a walk at the Belle Isle Marsh.



It was a beautiful day and a lovely sunset.



Grandma was determined to get a selfie with the kids. It turned out so natural, not staged at all.



And then Maddy took one of Mom, Katie and I. (Apparently, I didn't realize I was supposed to lean!)








On Saturday, we had lunch, a walk around Boston and some shopping.



We walked through Faneuil Hall to see the Christmas decorations, including this creepy Nutcracker.



And then we walked through the Boston Common and Public Garden.












On Sunday, the weather was pretty miserable so we went bowling.





It was a great weekend. It was so nice having Aunt Katie and Grandma here and the kids are a little sad that their visit it over, but we'll be home for Christmas very soon!
