Unfortunately, Sam the Fish was delivered to the fishy afterlife less than twenty-four hours after coming home with us. Sadly, I think our untreated tap water killed him. But we tried again with another fish (a girl this time, Sammy the second) and some water conditioner and she seems to be thriving under Audrey's very attentive care. (Now that Sammy has stayed alive for a week, Audrey's finally stopped giving me hourly updates that she's still alive!)
On Thursday, we had tickets to see Fancy Nancy the Musical at the Boston Children's Theater, which was a lot of fun. And on Friday, we paid a visit to the MFA.
They had some awesome activities, all centered around the theme of music. The kids loved making a collage that expressed the idea of rhythm.
And then they had a chance to design some dance costumes. Somehow, both kids' "dancer" looked suspiciously like a Minion.
(We always say hello to our Egyptian friends on our way out of the museum.)
On the weekend we had amazingly warm weather that felt more like April than February. Audrey and I spent a couple hours outside on Saturday, while Maddy had her OT play group.
And on Sunday, we drove town to Taunton to celebrate Grammy's birthday with some ball-playing the the yard. Audrey plays a type of soccer that involves tackling.
I think Grammy enjoyed our visit and her presents!
And she had plenty of help blowing out her candles.
It was a great day....
...but sadly, now it's back to school!
