I think we did a good job of sending summer off with a bang over Labor Day weekend.
On Saturday, Bob took us on a mystery ride. But first we had to stop for lunch at Bliss. The "smiley" fries were a hit.
But the sundae with the never-ending cherry on top was even more popular. (Our waitress really knew how to get on Audrey's good side!)
After lunch, we drove to Seekonk to ride in a variety of vehicles that go bump, crash or splash. (Sometimes they did all three.)
Bob got the hang of driving his bumper boat, but sadly I never did. I mostly spun us in circles while people crashed into us.
The bumper cars, on the other hand, were a whole 'nother story. I could really drive those things.
And I had no qualms about crashing into my four-year-old. They were definitely the hit of the day!
Sadly, the big red chairs did not crash into anything.
We also did the GoKarts and mini golf. It was a very action packed day!
Sunday was a little more relaxing. We went to a cookout at Angela and Mark's....
...where they revealed the gender of their baby, which is due in December.
We all had fun, but unfortunately the kids want a koi pond in our back yard now!
