Last Girl Scout Meeting of the Year

Maddy's Girl Scout year came to a a close today. They had a party at the Build-A-Bear Workshop to spend the last bit of their cookie haul. I knew this treat would be really special for Maddy....she loves her "friends". Me, I'm trying to embrace it, rather than fight it.



Maddy picked "Thin Mint" the official Girl Scout Bear.



The party was a little bittersweet as we had to say goodbye to Maddy's troop leader Tracy, who's moving away. So, for now we are troop-less, but hopefully we can find some troop to take us in!



Then we completed the day with a little lunch with Maddy's new friend.
