Girl Scout Cookies!

We've been very consumed with Girl Scout cookies this week. Maddy's troop wanted to have a sale so I volunteered to pick up the cookies. However, I didn't realize that would mean driving all over the state to get the some of the last Thin Mints in the state!

In the end, I got the Thin Mints and we could focus on the second most important thing….making signs for the sale! Maddy did a great job coloring it and she was so excited about the whole process.

On the morning of the sale, half sick with a cold, Maddy still woke me up before 8am, fully dressed and ready to go! And she happily stood in the cold and the drizzle.

She did a great job with the customers, very helpfully giving out pricing information and offering recommendations (Peanut Butter Patties, of course).

All the girls did great. They almost earned enough money to get their plaster painting party!

And my ears have almost recovered from hearing 6 and 7-year-olds screaming "Girl Scout Cookies!!!" over and over again!
