Audrey and I have been making a lot of art lately.

Sometimes we work in Play Doh, as when we wanted to capture the likeness of "Dog-Named-Duck" in sculptural form.



But usually, she likes to work with markers and paper. Specifically, she likes to draw family portraits over and over.



And she loves to stage whole art shows on the refrigerator. (Maddy is less thrilled that her own art gets replaced!)



It's amazing to watch her progression. Her drawings are getting more and more detailed. In this latest one, she even drew herself holding Elmo (second figure from the left).



I love to see her interest in drawings. We just have to make sure she doesn't end up wanting to be an architect!
