It's been an exciting week to be a Red Sox fan! Bob has been lucky enough to see THREE World Series Champion teams in his life and to go to all three victory parades. This latest one was on Saturday morning but unfortunately for Maddy and I, we had some swim lessons to go to. (And all the crowds and road closures made THAT enough of an adventure for us!) But Bob wanted to take Audrey to see the parade.
As usual (not to brag but victory parades are starting to become pretty commonplace around here) the players boarded Duck Boats on a route through Boston and into the Charles River. Audrey was thrilled to see Wally, the Big Green Monster.
And Big Papi performed a rap for everyone.
They had a great time! Maddy and I were sorry to miss it.
Audrey says, "I waited my whole life to win a World Series"
