Halloween (Part Two: The Main Event)

The kids have been so excited about Halloween, they've practically been vibrating. Maddy decided back in the summer that she wanted to be Willy Wonka for Halloween. And she simultaneously decided that Audrey was the perfect height to be her Oompa Loompa. Luckily, Audrey was agreeable to the idea.


The Finley's (aka Little Miss Sunshine and Little Miss Naughty) kept our tradition going and came over for trick-or-treating.


They had a great time going house to house. I was so impressed by how well Audrey did, and shocked at how quickly she's growing up. She's so determined to keep up with the big kids!


Whenever I would prompt by saying "what do you say?" when we got up to the door, she would say "Happy trick-or-treating!" That works too, Audrey! I love how she puts her own spin on things.
