April Vacation: The Zoo!

Maddy is off from school this week and our friend Christian was visiting from Chicago so we invited him to carry all our stuff around come to the zoo with us. It was a great day to walk around the zoo, though LOTS of other April Vacationers had the same idea!

As per Maddy's standard zoo visit, we started out at bird world.

This year, it's great to see Audrey enjoying all the animals too. She had lots of opportunities to use her new favorite word, "birdy".

The gorillas were a big hit with everyone. We even got to see a baby gorilla.

After a picnic lunch, and a ride on the carousel, it was time to head home.

I'm sure we will be back many, many times this summer!
