Today, we kept up with our fall tradition of apple picking with the Finley's at Cider Hill Farm in Amesbury. We had a gorgeous day that felt more like August than October.
Audrey took her first hay ride to the top of the hill....
...and had her first taste of apples, straight from the tree.
Maddy sampled plenty of apples too. At home apples have to be peeled and sliced just so, but in the wild she eats them right off the tree!
After we picked all the apples we needed to make a pie and some applesauce, we spent some time in the pumpkin patch. Maddy educated her little sister on how to select the perfect pumpkin.
And Audrey had some grass to tide her over until lunch time.
It was a great day day for apple picking. I love this fall tradition!
