Today, Maddy got to take a ride in the Apollo Capsule which seemed to be designed (at least size-wise) with preschoolers in mind.
She really enjoyed running around on the disco floor.
And playing on the xylophone.
But the most important part of the visit is always the visit with the dinosaur. Maddy's named him "Danny" after the her favorite book Danny and the Dinosaur. (I'm pretty sure dinosaur in the book is just named "dinosaur" but I don't want to break it to Maddy.) It's been a rough winter here, even the stuffed animals require outerwear.
It was a great day, I'm sure we'll be back....probably next weekend!

I love the scarf on the dinosaur!
It sounds like a great place! I wish we had more places to choose from where I live. We're kind of in that in between place with the weather - it's warming up but very wet and muddy and we're sick of malls too.
We do have a new dinosaur exhibit at our Science Centre. Bennett was quite happy to admire it from afar. I love the scarf too!
I enjoyed reading about your experience with constraint therapy. I hope you don't mind, but I linked to it in my blog a few weeks ago. Are you still seeing the great progress?
Hi Barbara,
We're not seeing 'progress' since we left so much, but she's been able to carry over all that she could do at in Alabama at home. That was my biggest worry....that Maddy wouldn't be able to do the same things with the cast off. I highly recommend the program in Birmingham, it was worth all the effort it took to get there!
Here's hoping spring is right around the corner!
