First Day of School

Maddy started preschool today. I was surely more nervous than she was but everyone survived the day. As soon as Maddy saw the other kids she said, "See ya!" to us and took off.


After her grueling school day ended (at 10:35!) we went to the mall to find a bargain on an real winter coat. (We're thinking her teacher won't appreciate our layering approach to Maddy's outerwear.). We found her a coat (for 10 bucks!) and then celebrated the special day with some french fries.


Maddy says she's excited to go back again tomorrow....seems like a good sign!
