For Christmas 2019 we gave Maddy tickets to see the Lumineers in June of 2020....and two years later we FINALLY made good on that gift. Ironically, Bob had just gotten over COVID himself, the concert happened to be on his "Day 11"...the first day is was free to roam about without a face covering. (Oh COVID, will you ever fully go away!?)
(Also, this concert was EXTRA sweet for Maddy because right before we left she got the news that she'd been selected for the Future Leaders Program at Piers Park this summer! We're so proud of her. She wrote a resume and cover letter and experienced the stress and anxiety of her FIRST job interview! So glad her hard work paid off!)
