UK Reunion

This weekend I felt like a time traveler. I shed every responsibilty I had, flew to Kentucky and had a weekend-long college reunion. I saw people I hadn't seen in decades, stayed out until two in the morning, went to Keeneland, attended at "Faux Arts Ball" and just had the most amazing time! (Thanks to Aunt Pattie for letting me crash at her apartment and to Bob for holding the fort down while I was gone!)

Goodbye Boston!

I got to meet my new niece, Stella and her crazy hair!

The reunion begins! (Pregaming at an outdoor beer garden with Aaron)

Group photo on the steps of Pence Hall.

Then a presentation at the Renyolds Building about the new College of Design Building (which nearly caused the hangry, opinionated 90's grads to riot in protest...)

Hanging out at Bourbon on Rye. I looked at my watch and it had magically became 2:00 without me noticing!

Beautiful day at Keeneland. I won $28 dollars! (If you don't count the $40 I spent)

One of my fellow 90's grads ended up owning a distillery instead of practicing architecture and was able to host our Faux Arts Ball. It was on a beautiful farm near Frankfort. (The owner of the Three Boys Distillery used to plan all the best parties in architecture school, so it seemed really fitting that this is what he ended up doing!)

Mama Said...they were awesome!

Champange toast for the retiring professors. Lots of very funny, very moving speeches.

Aunt Patti, my full-service weekend coordinator even made brunch for a few of my friends.

Such a memorable and amazing weekend!
