Another COVID Vacation week with no plans... but we managed to string a few nice days together. The requirement to quarrantine after out of state travel for less than 24 hours has been excluded from the travel order so we took advantage and went to Rhode Island TWICE this week. (Living dangerously!)
On Monday, Bob took the day off work and we drove down to the Blackstone River Bikeway and biked about 9 miles. It's a great trail! No road crossings and there were even public bathrooms open! And we saw two waterfalls.
Tuesday was the nicest and warmest day of the week so we met the Rinadi's at the beach for a picnic. I wasn't planning on kids getting in the water, but I guess I should have. Water temperature was 49 degrees!
On Tuesday and Wednesday, I signed Audrey up gory special effects makeup class. What was I thinking?
And on Friday, Bob took another day off and we went to the Roger Williams Zoo.
We hasn't been there in two years and it felt like visiting old friends. The cheetah and the red panda were highlights!
It was a great week. The weather is getting warmer and Bob and I are both half-vaccinated. It feels like we're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
