It's a good thing that when this pandemic started for us back in March, I had no idea that we'd still be dealing with it when the holidays came around. I don't think my mind could have handled that, but here we are. Luckily we've stayed healthy and still have LOTS to be thankful for. Including a new niece coming in January...which meant that it was really important that we didn't have our nornal Thanksgiving with our extended family. But we had the four of us, Grandpa and Auntie Linda, and a big fat turkey (and a perplexed cat or two). A quiet day, but a really nice one.
Being "socially distant" from Kenny and Tricia did NOT mean that we couldn't talk trash about our respective pie-making skills. A challenge may have been issued.
