Happy Birthday Maddy!

We had a fun day celebrating Maddy's birthday. First off, I started to bake Maddy's cake in the morning, only to realize that my oven doesn't work anymore. So, when life gives you lemons, you make mug cakes in the microwave with all the batter you can't bake. (Also, I love how quickly Audrey can snap into "jackass mode" when asked)




(And then you go to the grocery store and buy a cake!)

Then Maddy had a ballgame, with some special guests (The Cahoons) in the stands to watch.



After the ballgame, it was time for "Maria" to wear the sombrero.



Then back to our house for some tea and cake.

Our upcoming trip to Florida is the real gift for both kids, but we wanted to get a little something to wrap up...Maddy will be representing her Hogwarts House when we go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.



I think she had a great birthday! We had a nice time celebrating her!
