Pre-Halloween Festivities

Halloween sort of crept up on me this year. I think it's partly because the kids didn't have strong ideas about what they wanted to be, so we just ended up recycling some old costumes.

On Friday night we went to the "Spooky Social" at Audrey's school.



And then Sunday, after finding a grocery store that still had pumpkins for sale we did our pumpkin carving. This year the kids were entirely responsible for getting the guts out. Gross!







This year, both kids wanted to carve a cat. I guess we are officially cat people!
