Girl Scout Sleepover at the Musuem of Science

Last night Maddy's Girl Scout troop took all their cookie money and spent it on an overnight at the Museum of Science. It was money well spent, they had a ball! And I got to be one of the chaperones. (I'm not sure if that makes me lucky or unlucky, but probably lucky!)

Speaking of lucky, we got the absolute best sleeping area in the whole museum....our own space, next to Triceratops Cliff. They stuck FOUR troops in the area around the T-Rex, so while we did have to listen to the other troops snore (unlucky!) we didn't not have to rumble with anyone over floorspace (lucky!)

We ate dinner at the museum, then roamed around until are 10:00 with a short break for Dippin' Dots (gross!)

Our last event before bed was a show at the Hall of Electricity.

The it was time to "sleep".

And by "sleep" I mean toss around all night on the hard floor, listening some lady in one of the T-Rex troops sawing logs!

(Still worth it though, the kids had a blast!)

And in the morning, we got to see a Planetarium show and an IMAX show before taking our stinky selves home.

We survived! It was a lot of fun!
