Then we painted pumpkins.
With that taken care of, the kids wanted to use every last ticket they had to race through the inflatable obstacle course.
Afterwards we went to see Bob's creation. He ended up winning "Best Structural Integrity". We are so proud of him!

Sunday was a complete wash-out so we decided to go renew our membership at the MFA.
One of my kids (who shall remain nameless) reached out and touched the big green Chihuly in the atrium and I'm still having nightmares about being banned for life from the MFA. (It literally bounced and I had a panic attack!)
The William Merritt Chase exhibit was interesting. It brought out a certain somber side to the kids.
Audrey studied the five different interpretations of the human body.
On Monday we the sun came out and we had a perfect day for apple picking!
The DiBiase's joined us and it was so nice to see our friends.
Children of the corn.
The apples were tasty, if not a little hard to reach. Luckily we had borrowed a pole!
On the way home we took the scenic route to see Plum Island.
It was very windy!
It was a great day!
