Batting Cages and New Cousins

We didn't have much planned this weekend so we finally got around to getting to the batting cage to get a little extra practice for Maddy. We are so proud of how she's doing in softball and wanted to help her get ready for the playoffs that are coming up in a couple weeks.



Batting is a little tough for her, but we were impressed at how well she did, even getting some hits in the "medium speed" cage!



Audrey got some hits too!



On Sunday, we went to visit our new cousin and deliver a special friend to him. Audrey was so concerned about getting Thomas's Elmo mixed up with hers that she wanted to write his name on his toy. However, I thought the grunge, the sewn-up lip and the smell are easy enough indicators about which Elmo is hers!



Poor Maddy had her turn with Thomas after he had already used up all his good humor!



They are already plotting out all the places around Boston that they want to show him!
