Mother's Day Do-Over

Saturday, we had a gorgeous day and we had plans to visit Grammy so I'm just going to call it Mother's Day, The Sequel. We got to relax a bit in the morning, and have a leisurely breakfast. If being eaten by a purple dragon can be considered "leisurely".



After lunch, we drove down to Taunton and took advantage of the glorious weather to let Maddy get in some batting practice, before softball tryouts next week. She did awesome!



And then we did some sitting on the porch with Grammy...



...before taking her and Grandpa out to dinner at our favorite place. Audrey was really wowed by the dessert (Zeppolis, which are like beignet.) If only she could come of of her shell a bit and express herself.



And what trip to Taunton would be complete without a trip to Benny's to test out all the hammocks?



I definitely liked the Mother's Day sequel better than the original!
