Easter Weekend

We celebrated Easter this weekend, a little more quietly than we usually do, but still nice. Friday Maddy had an early release day from school so we used the extra time to color Easter eggs.

This years kit included a "marbled" design. I'm not that convinced that these eggs look "marbled", but the kids thought they looked pretty cool.

On Sunday, the Easter Bunny delivered baskets and hid eggs all over the house.

And then the kids dressed up so that we could head down to Taunton for an Easter Brunch.

We arrived a little early, so Bob (inspired by being in the place where he learned to drive) decided to offer driving lessons to any takers.....there was only one taker, and it wasn't the one who could actually reach the pedals.

Finally, after Audrey gave me a new few dozen gray hairs, we were ready for brunch!

Sadly, Grammy was just getting home from being in the hospital for a few days so she and Grandpa couldn't join us. They were very missed though!

We did get to visit with Kenny and Tricia and the Heberts.

And the totally un-creepy Easter Bunny.

It was a nice day, even before we realized there was free face painting!
