This weekend, I took a solo trip to Kentucky to see the Avett Brothers and go to Mary Kate's wedding. It was so much fun to have a night out with the Fields.
And the Avett Brothers were amazing, as always!
Mary Kate and Patrick's wedding was beautiful, Reverend Patti did a nice job of officiating.
I had very nice time on my own, but it seems like I missed a lot of excitement back home. Bob took the kids to Target and bought some Halloween decor. (It was the candy bowl complete with two skulls that tell corny jokes, Audrey had been eyeing it for a few weeks.)
And the kids went to visit Grammy and Grandpa and they spent the afternoon riding some inexplicable robotic animals around the Tauton mall. (Also, poor Maddy had to go ponytail-less for the weekend!)
And it's never too early to do a little costume shopping!
