Salem

Today, we went up to Salem to check out Nicole's new home, which is right in the heart of the tourist district where all the spooky stuff goes down. And even though it's only September, spooky stuff was already in full swing. When we walked out of Nicole's lobby we walked smack into a blue ghoul who made a HUGE impression on Audrey. She kept talking about him and wondering aloud if he were just a person in a costume until I finally asked her to draw him while we waited for our lunch.



Wow! I see now why she thought he so scary. His hands were huge!



After lunch, Nicole and Ken took us on a walk around town. It was a beautiful day for a walk.



And we got to see some public art, this was called "Stickworks".







And then some ice cream.





Thankfully, when we got back to Nicole's building, the blue ghoul had been replaced with a Minion.



Way less scary!
