Grandma Finally Makes It To Boston

Grandma and Grandfather finally made it to town for their much-delayed birthday visit. Only, now it was time to celebrate Grandma's birthday instead of the girls' ones...

...but we'll use any excuse to make something sweet. Before they arrived, Audrey helped me make Grandma's favorite, banana pudding.

And once they got here, there wasn't much to do since we were still covered in snow and dealing with the latest "arctic blast". At least there was basketball to watch. And snuggling to do.

And somehow Audrey managed to rope Grandfather in to working their way through a stack of designs on her Imagine Magnets.

On Satuday, I took my alien life form to swim lessons so she could show off her skills to Grandma.

We actually had a plan to go to the Science Musuem on Sunday, but Maddy woke up that morning sick with a cold (probably from all that staying up late to watch basketball) so we had another quiet day.

So, it was a nice visit, if not a little boring for Grandma and Grandfather. But the Cats survived the weekend, and that was the important thing!
