Carving Pumpkins

We almost ran out of time to carve our pumpkins but we finally got around to it last night! The kids were very excited (staying up late on a school night probably had something to do with it!)

This year, Team Amy-Maddy decided to carve a Batman-O-Lantern and Team Bob-Audrey settled on carving an owl.



Luckily, we had some very dedicated pumpkin goop scrapers.






And then..as has become our Halloween tradtion, Bob got out his Dremel tool and started grinding away.



So, while Batman took about fifteen minutes to carve, poor Bob was still at it hours after the kids went to bed. But the results were pretty cool.



Now if I can only get the pumpkin sheen off my kitchen floor!
