Deer Island and Morrissey

Aside from having tickets to a concert on Saturday night (Bob's birthday present), we didn't have any big plans this weekend... so we spent the morning at Deer Island.

It was a great day for a walk, and HOT. Though none of us will be complaining about that.

After our walk, we had lunch with some fish. There may have been some noodles too.

I'm so grateful for how well the two kids get along. They really are buddies.

After a pretty relaxing day, Bob and I had a date night to see Morrissey. Apparently, (as lots of drama always surrounds Morrissey) he had just kicked the opening band off of his tour, so we found ourselves at the Boston Opera House with a lot of time to kill. So we filled it with nine-dollar glasses of wine in tiny plastic cups. And had plenty of time to pick out a concert T-shirt. But in the end, Bob couldn't bring himself to purchase a T-shirt with a giant photo of Morrissey's face on it (the only kinds of T-shirts he sells, apparently.)

It was a great show and very entertaining. I've never seen so many stage jumpers or Morrissey huggers in my life!
