Blizzard Birthday

I have a feeling Maddy will always remember her sixth birthday, as we spent the day hunkered down, weathering a blizzard. School was called off last night, so we knew we could sleep in and have a relaxing day (...right!)

I'll admit, there was an excessive amount of TV watched.

We also played Monopoly. Maddy was quite the land baron!

And it wasn't like we had nothing to do, we had to make a birthday cake...

...and eat it too. After all, that snow isn't going to shovel itself. Those shovelers need need their energy!

Blizzard or no, it was still a nice day, and a very memorable birthday!
