Putting up the Tree!

Maddy has been begging us to put up the tree all weekend, so finally on Sunday we got around to it. (Poor Bob spent all of Saturday putting four coats of yellow paint on our kitchen walls!)

First step, dig out all the ornaments that are indestructible.

Then we put White Christmas on in the background (Maddy was thrilled to see Danny Kaye in action, after seeing him on The Muppet Show) and decorated the tree.

Now we are taking bets on how many times it gets knocked over before Christmas!
